Hand dryers in public toilets are not as hygienic as we think they are. A video is circulating on the internet which reveals what happens if you use a hot-air hand dryer to dry your hands.

The video shows how bacteria is left behind after use, from hand dryers at places like shopping mall, movie theatre and office.

Other than this, in 2018, research by University of Connecticut found that our hands get infected by bacteria as well as fecal matter when we use hand dryers at public restrooms.
