Are you suffering from migraine? Well, this treatment recommended by Meghan Markle might save you.

In a recent interview, Meghan Markle  shared that she was suffering from migraine and it became so severe that she got hospitalised. Talking about the treatments, she said acupuncture and cupping helped her cope with the symptoms.

A migraine is a headache that can cause severe throbbing pain or a pulsing sensation, usually on one side of the head. Those who suffer this type of sudden onset headaches also complain of accompanying nausea, vomiting, and extreme sensitivity to light and sound.

Speaking of Cupping therapy, in this method special cups are placed on the skin which creates suction and acts as a type of deep-tissue massage. It is believed that these suction cups when placed on strategic acupressure points help stimulate the flow of energy.

Many studies have also supported the role of acupuncture in helping with migraines. Acupuncture produces natural substances in the body such as pain-relieving endorphins. It is considered as effective as prophylactic drug therapy for migraine and is safe.
