Shoulder pain is common these days because of our lifestyle. And it is also majorly caused due to sitting on chairs and working infront of laptops and desktops for long hours. However, simple yoga asanas can combat shoulder pain.

A video shared by actor Malaika Arora's Yoga trainer, Sarvesh Shashi showed three simple yoga asanas that can help in tackling shoulder pain.

The 3 Yoga asanas that he mentioned to combat shoulder pain are:

Eagle Arms

In this Yoga asana, you need to stretch your arms well and then need to snug your right elbow into the crook of your left pone and then make sure that you have joined your palms. This yoga helps to improve balance and focus and is a good stretching exercise for your shoulder, upper back and thighs.

Cat Cow Pose

To practice this yoga, you need to be on your knees and your knees should be directly below your hips. Your head should be up and tilt your pelvis area up like a cow. After this, you need to take deep breaths and exhale and bring the abdomen in that will allow you to arch your spine and bring your head and pelvis down. Repeat this asana several times.

This asana can help improve balance and posture and can help to combat shoulder and back pain.

Thread The Needle Pose

To practice this pose, you need to be on your knees and your upper body needs to twist towards the right side, while your right arm should be stretched to the opposite side.

This asana helps release the pain in the shoulders, neck and upper back.
