Menopause is an indicator that discloses the end of menstrual cycles. It can happen between the age group of 40-50 years. Estrogen and progesterone are the two hormones that control menstruation and ovulation. When ovaries no longer release an egg every month, menstruation stops. It is a regular part of aging and it can happen after the age of 40.
