Do you spend hours watching cute animal videos or reels? Well, carry on then, because a study has suggested it might be good for your health.
According to a study conducted by the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom, watching videos of cute animals for nearly 30 minutes reduces stress and anxiety. Apart from this, researchers also found that it might be good for blood pressure and heart rate.
For the study, the team asked participants to watch videos of the world's happiest animals like kittens, puppies, baby gorillas and pandas. They observed a positive change in blood pressure, heart rate and anxiety. In fact, anxiety levels of some participants got down to almost 50 per cent.
