The juice diet also referred to as a ‘cleanse diet’ is very popular, especially amongst stars and celebrities.
A juice diet is usually a blend of different veggies and fruits that provides an adequate amount of minerals and vitamins for one to stay satiated and keeps happy hormones up!

For example, blueberries are the most common ingredient in juices/ smoothies and are a good source of Vitamin C. Other combinations are banana, spinach, apple or mango with mint and spinach. Mango itself is a great source of Vitamin B6. when juiced in the above combinations, it gives a boost of nutrients.
Does it help in weight loss?
By cutting out the starch from one's diet, definitely, we nudge the water weight and drop those extra kgs quickly. This dip keeps one motivated and helps them to stay compliant with the weight loss regime. All these nutrients help improve gut health- which is the second brain in your body. This promotes a sense of overall well-being.
These diets are easy to follow but at the same time limits one’s options to pick and choose from and hence are not sustainable. This denial of other foods can lead to stress and ultimately affect the sense of wellness eventually.
These diets are rich in sugar content even though it's natural. In the longer run, it can increase the risk of insulin resistance.

These diets are calorie deficit and should be administered under some professional guidance only to ensure you sustain the weight loss. These diets cannot be a lifestyle for anyone but are used for smaller goals only, followed up with right/ balanced eating!
