Making paper boats, catching raindrops with the tongue and dancing in the rain bring joy to children's lives, but along with that, this season brings diseases which make them fall sick.

Here are a few tips to keep your children safe from seasonal flu in this season

  • It is super important to maintain a good and balanced diet. Include a good amount of carbohydrates and protien in their diet.
  • Encourage your children to maintain hygiene and ask them to wash their hands frequently.
  • Children love eating fast food, but during monsoon the chances of contamination are high. Ensure your child eats home-cooked and fresh food.
  • Increase the consumption of vitamin C, with fruits like mosambi, lemon, apple and tomatoes.
  • Make sure to drink warm and clean water as it will help soothe sore throats.
