According to a study published in the Journal of Hypertension, individuals should engage in daily 45-minute meditation sessions as a means to reduce stress-related high blood pressure.

The International Society of Hypertension also offers additional recommendations, such as enjoying music, practicing yoga, and embracing mindfulness techniques.

Traditional medical guidance, including quitting smoking and reducing salt intake, remains crucial. However, experts now advocate for a more holistic "body and mind" approach to lifestyle changes.

Incorporating regular physical activity, ensuring adequate sleep, and utilizing fitness devices and apps to monitor steps, sleep patterns, and overall progress are cited as beneficial habits.

High blood pressure is a significant contributor to premature mortality. It places strain on the cardiovascular system, potentially leading to heart disease, heart attacks, and strokes. Globally, more than one billion individuals, or roughly one in four adults, are affected by high blood pressure.
