The study published in the PNAS, stated that foods rich in flavanols (a nutrient present in certain vegetables and fruits), may contribute to enhance your memory.

Flavanols are present in red wine, green and black tea, dark chocolate, beans, onions and fruits like blackberries, cherries and apples.

The study was conducted on 3,562 older adults who were given flavanol supplements for 3 years and tested their memory on an annual basis. And, one year later it was concluded, that there was a 16 per cent jump in their memory after taking flavanol supplements.
