Physical activity at different times of the day can affect the body in different ways. A new study from Karolinska Institute in Sweden and the University of Copenhagen in Denmark discovered the best time to work out.
The study was published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences and stated that exercising in the morning can boost fat metabolism.
The researchers conducted this experiment on two groups of mice; one performed high-intensity exercise in the morning and one in the evening.
Later, it was concluded that mice who exercised in the morning on an empty stomach had a higher metabolic rate than those who worked out in the evening.
