Migraines go beyond a bad headache and can be extremely painful. While various factors may lead to migraines, our eating habits could be the one making it worse; according to a new study.
Published by Nutritional Neuroscience, the research included 8,953 participants. The team analysed the association between diet and the risk of both severe headaches as well as migraines.
The findings showed that mild, moderate and severe malnutrition were associated with participants experiencing more frequent and intense headaches.
Researchers also concluded that the diet of severe headaches and migraine sufferers lacked vitamins and nutrients.
