Summer is here and so is the season of excessive sweating. As the heat increases, we tend to sweat more and more. Even if we bathe regularly, the sweat smell tends to linger. When even perfumes fail to hide the smell, we have the best alternatives!

Here are a few tips to keep away sweat smell in summer

Mix rose water in bathing water

Rose water has a floral scent that can help mask any lingering sweat odours, leaving you feeling and smelling fresher. The rose extract is also great for your skin. Mixing rose water in bath water will mask the smell of sweetness.

Add lemon to bathing water

Lemon contains citric acid, which has antibacterial properties. When applied to the skin, lemon water can help kill odour-causing bacteria, thereby reducing the smell of sweet. Use lemon soap or add a few drops to your bathing water.

Add orange peel to bathing water

Another effective citrus fruit that helps mask the smell of sweat is orange. Orange peel contains essential oils with a fresh citrus fragrance that can help mask unpleasant body odour.

Use mogra flower

Mogra flowers emit a sweet, floral scent that can effectively mask unpleasant body odours. Placing fresh mogra flowers in your surroundings can help create a pleasant aroma, reducing the perception of sweat smell. You can also add mogra flowers in water and take a bath.

Other than these, during summer make sure to change your clothes often. Opt for breathable fabrics like cotton or moisture-wicking materials to help keep you dry and reduce the likelihood of sweat and odour buildup.
