These sleeping habits will give you a longer life; know all about them

Getting enough sleep is important for our life. But do you know that according to the latest study, having a good sleeping habits can increase the age of men by five years and of women by two and a half years?

The study, presented at the annual meeting of the American College of Cardiology, asked 172,000 people to answer a sleep questionnaire, between 2013 and 2018. Data collected from it was analyzed on five parameters, which include falling asleep quickly, staying asleep, getting seven to eight hours of sleep, waking up comfortably and not consuming any sleep medicine.

This meant a person should get seven to eight hours of sleep every night, without any disturbance or there should be no problem in falling asleep more than twice a week. One should feel relaxed after waking up at least five days a week and at the same time should not be taking sleeping pills.

According to this study, whoever falls under all parameters is likely to live longer. They were 30% less likely to die due to any reason; 21% due to heart disease, 19% from cancer, and 40% less likely to die from causes other than heart disease or cancer.
