Do you constantly feel exhausted and tired even after taking enough rest? If yes, then chances are you might be suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
Also, known as systemic exertion intolerance disease (SEID), CFS is a condition characterised by overwhelming fatigue, cognitive dysfunction and sleep problems that can affect day-to-day activity. It can also be caused due to viruses, stress, a weakened immune system and hormonal imbalances.
Millions of people today are suffering from CFS, especially women (80 per cent) between the age of 40s and 50s. As per Healthline, managing CFS can be difficult as the recovery rate is only 5 per cent and there's no exact known cause and cure for the condition.
However, making some lifestyle changes may help reduce symptoms.
