Use light colours

Avoid using dark colours and use light colours such as white, beige or pastel colours. These colours will reflect light and make the room look brighter and bigger.

Incorporate natural light

Allow natural light to come into the room by keeping the windows and curtains open. Natural light will not only make your look bigger but will also make it look fresh and breezy.

Add mirrors

Try and add as many mirrors in your room décor as possible. Mirrors are the best way to create the illusion of a bigger room. They reflect light as well as the view.

Utilise the ceiling space

Use the ceiling space by adding a chandelier or any other fancy light fittings to it. Also, pay attention to the colour of your ceiling and try to use a light colour.
