Self-confidence is the key to success, but sometimes due to some of our own habits, our self-confidence gets shaken. Life coach Nipa Asharam tells us about some habits of ours that make us lose our confidence.
1. Before posting your photo on social media, asking your friends and others whether you look good or not is one such habit. If you think the photo is good, then go ahead and post it. Taking opinion of others is not needed at all.
2. When someone praises you, you underestimate yourself, instead of just saying thank you, you keep thinking how you need to work more on yourself. So, accept the praise and feel good about yourself.
3. Feeling guilty about your past mistakes. Instead of taking your mistakes as life lessons, you stress about what could have been done to rectify it. Move over the past and think about the present.
4. Not saying what you do and not doing what you say. Not telling the truth about yourself, causes you fear about how people might look at you. Stop now if you’re doing so as this can completely destroy your confidence.
5. Overusing the word ‘sorry’. By doing this, you create a negative image of yourself making you think that you must apologize for even slightest of things.
