As summers are here, Indians are already prepping up for the scorching heat. Amidst various health advisories, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) took to Twitter to share some tips to protect your babies from the heatwaves.
1. Do not leave kids unsupervised in parked cars. Vehicles can rapidly heat up to dangerous temperatures
2. Give them plenty of fluids to drink
3. Learn how to identify heat-related illnesses in infants
4. Check on the child for concentrated (dark-coloured) urine, which can indicate dehydration
