On day four of Navratri, we worship Maa Kushmanda, who is considered as the creator of the universe.
We worship her for longevity, name and fame. Devotees can offer her grey colour things because grey balances all kinds of emotions and keeps you very grounded and you can also offer her malpua.
The name "Kushmanda" is derived from the Sanskrit words "Ku" meaning "a little", "Ushma" meaning "warmth" and "Anda" meaning "cosmic egg". It is believed that her blessings can bring an end to all obstacles and challenges in one's life.
