According to a recent survey violence and harassment at workplaces are major issues all across the world and psychological violence and harassment are the most common.
The survey was done on more than 75,000 employees across 121 countries among whom about 22% reported having experienced either violence or harassment at their respective work places. The report was shared by the U.N. International Labor Organization, the Lloyds Register Foundation and Gallup.
The report elaborated that while 6.3% of the surveyed employees experienced all three forms of abuse, psychological violence and harassment was faced by 17.9% of workers including men and women.
