Ratan Tata urges people to take care of stray animals this monsoon

Monsoon is the season of colourful umbrellas, and we all enjoy this weather sitting inside our houses. Meanwhile, street animals face a lot of difficulties to find safe places to hide. 

Recently, industrialist Ratan Tata took to Instagram and shared an awareness post on safeguarding stray animals during this monsoon season. 

Ways to take care of stray animals during Monsoon 

  • Provide them temporary roof around your house, so that stray animals can take shelter while it rains
  • Provide food, water and some blankets so, they don't feel cold
  • Ask your neighbours to check on stray animals and provide any help they can
  • In monsoons, stray animals hide under cars, so always check before starting your vehicle 
  • You can also seek help from animal experts and NGOs
