Don’t we always wish to have four working days a week rather than five, just to be able to sleep more? Looks like a maximum number of people all across, wish the same and sleeping is always a priority for people on their day offs.
According to a survey, people recorded sleeping for 7.58 hours per night after shifting to four days' work per week, which is almost an hour more sleep than when they were working for five days. The research was done by a team at Boston College, who had been tracking more than180 organizations globally, who started working for lesser hours a week. It was a six-month pilot program and was reported by Bloomberg.
The survey also concluded that there was a drastic drop in the percentage of sleep-deprived people from 42.6% to 14.5% during the four-day work routine.
