Winter season is all about showing off your cozy and stylish woollens. From caps to gloves to pullovers, we all wait the whole year to finally take ‘em out of the cupboards.
Here are some tips you can follow to make them last longer and look as fresh as new.
1. Do not wash your woollens every year. It is recommended to wash them maximum after two winter seasons only.
2. Always wash them in cold or lukewarm water. Washing woollens or warm clothes in hot water create lint on them over time.
3. Do not hang woollens to dry. Hanging them suspends their elasticity and make them too stretchy after some point of time.
1. Always keep some naphthalene balls with your woollens when storing in a cupboard to protect them from moisture and bacteria.
2. Always brush your woollens before and after wearing them to prevent them from lint and dust.
3. Do not iron your woollens ever. This causes lint on them. By chance if you need to iron any winter wear cover it with a cotton cloth and iron it after turning it inside out.
