Good news for travel enthusiasts with a sweet tooth!

A new study conducted by Australian airline Qantas has revealed that chocolate can help people beat jet lag after long journeys. Researchers found that passengers who consumed sweet treats experienced better sleep quality in flight.

Experts suggested that certain foods can help a passenger stave off jet lag. According to a 2021 study, watermelons and cucumbers could be helpful due to their hydrating properties. Sour cherries can also beat travel fatigue as they contain melatonin which helps induce sleep.

It is important to stay hydrated while traveling as dehydration may lead to fatigue and headaches, making jet lag worse.
