Even Indian travelers need passport and visa at this Indian railway station; know where it is located

You must be aware that travelling outside of India requires a visa and passport, but within India, you can easily travel without them. 

However, did you know that at this Indian railway station showing your passport is mandatory? This station is Attari Shyam Singh Railway Station, located in Amritsar district of Punjab. If you are caught here without documents, you could face a case under section 14 of the Foreign Act. as trains to our neighbouring nation Pakistan also leaves and runs through this station.

None of the Indians are permitted to enter the station premises without visa and this station is heavily guarded by armed security personnels and is under CCTV surveillance 24x7.
