India's wealthiest man, Mukesh Ambani, has made headlines with his purchase of the country’s first Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) 737 MAX 9, worth over Rs. 1,000 crore, which is around $120 million.
This highly customized private jet combines the performance of a commercial airliner with opulent interiors, including private suites, conference areas, and advanced technology. With a range of more than 11,000 kilometers, the jet is well-suited for long-distance travel.
Ambani's acquisition underscores the rising influence of India's ultra-wealthy in global luxury markets, setting a new benchmark for private aviation in the country.
After its arrival, Ambani’s BBJ 737 MAX 9 was spotted at a maintenance facility near Delhi Airport's cargo terminal.
While future flight details remain under wraps, experts suggest it will soon head to Mumbai, home to Reliance’s headquarters.
