Altitude sickness
If you are not used to going to the mountains, then you are likely to suffer from altitude sickness. This can result in dizziness, vomiting and headache.
Motion sickness
Motion sickness can occur even in travelling through the plains, but it gets heightened when travelling in high-altitude areas with narrow roads. This can induce nausea and vomiting.
Difficulty in breathing
Due to less oxygen being available in such areas, breathing problems may arise. If you are a regular smoker, then you are more likely to suffer from this issue.

Aching feet
If you are not used to walking on uneven roads then you may face pain in your feet. The locals are used to walking every day on the narrow roads, but if you are visiting the mountains for the first time, then you may face some discomfort.
