If you love winters and the chilly weather gives you an adrenaline rush, you must explore these places to experience snow this winter. These budget friendly places near Delhi are best for experiencing snowfall and should be in your bucket list. 

Shimla and Manali 

The infamous Mall road in Shimla looks even more picturesque when covered with a blanket of snow. Manali is also known as Himachal’s winter wonderland and amazing snow activities can be enjoyed at Rohtang Pass located just 51 kms away from Manali. 

Mussorie 

Head over to this beautiful quaint hill station in Uttarakhand to experience gorgeous hills covered with white snow. 

Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj 

These are two more serene and breathtaking places in Himachal. Visit the monasteries, Dharamshala Cricket ground and trek to Shiva Cafe to enjoy a hot bowl of thukpa while enjoying the scenic snowcapped mountains. 

Dalhousie and Khajjiar 

Known as the Switzerland of India, Khajjiar is one of the best places for skiing and other snow activities. The tall trees are covered with white flakes and everything looks magical.

If you are looking for an offbeat destination away from the maddening crowd, then Auli is what you need. Also known as the skiing paradise of Garhwal, visit this winter dreamland to enjoy the snow season.
