Time and gain we talk about how dogs are human's best friends and the most loyal pets.

However, did you know that they can actually sniff stress in humans? A recent study found that a sudden release of chemicals from odors of human sweat and breath help dogs identify the stress in their owners.

The research also shows the positive physiological effects of dogs on how they see, smell, think and the bonds with their owners.

Researchers involved 36 nonsmoker participants who had neither eaten or drunk anything before the test. They were given difficult Maths test to solve and their breath and sweat samples were collected before and after the test.

Researchers only used the samples of those whose blood pressure and heart rates had increased due to the test.

Later, a group of 4 dogs were presented with the samples from both before and after the stress. And they indeed correctly identified each person’s stress sample in nearly 94 percent of the 720 trials that were done.

According to the researchers, this ability of dogs can also be beneficial in training and therapy services.
