Heavy police barricading at the protest sites has restricted farmers access to water and toilets. All three protest sites -- Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur -- have seen the addition of more barricades and cement slabs since the January 26 violence. Concertina wires have been used to cover vast stretches, and at Tikri and Ghazipur, police have also put metal spikes on the roads leading to the protest sites. At Singhu border, the barricading has cut off access for farmers to roughly 100 portable toilets, The Indian Express has reported. Delhi govt has also alleged that the Delhi Police has prevented it from supplying water tankers to Singhu.
