Drank a little too much last night and struggling to get out of bed? A lurking headache, dizziness, dehydration or nausea are all symptoms of a hangover and may make it difficult for you to get back on your feet.

Here are some home remedies to nurse your hangover.

Hydrate yourself as much as possible, whether it's with water or juice. The body gets dehydrated very easily with binge drinking. Liquids will help flush out all the toxins and restore hydration in your body.

Drinking too much can lead to a loss of potassium. Feasting on a bowl of bananas may help you feel better, as it helps restore the potassium level and generates muscle strength.

If nausea is taking the better of you, a ginger tea or a smoothie with a dash of ginger will do the trick. The compounds in ginger help empty the stomach and relieve symptoms of nausea.

And finally, try some tomato juice or soup! Tomatoes can give an instant energy boost to the body and are loaded with vitamin A and C.

These home-based hangover antidotes will help you spring back to your toes in no time.
