Cheating on the job! No it's not extra-marital affairs but extra-job affairs that are now the trend. ET reports that an increasing number of professionals are 'moonlighting' outside their jobs to pick up freelance work without informing their employers.

The tip-off for companies came as they are asking employees to come back to work and discovering through demands of change of timings and structure that many have been supplementing their incomes via a secret second job.Experts say that digital investigations into employees 'cheating on their employers has gone up by three-four times since 2019.
But the two-timing may not lead to a 'job-divorce', due to the talent wars on IT companies are converting employees to contract basis to be able to retain them and also allow them to do 'non-competitive' moonlighting.
