Attending an event hosted by India Today group, Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi hit back at his Delhi counterpart Arvind Kejriwal.

Channi drew a parallel between British colonial rulers and Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party while saying that the entire nation fought against the British to drive them out, now the AAP has come to Punjab as Angrez to rule the northern state.

Channi further said that he is a Punjabi and knows the state and its problem and advised Kejriwal to leave the state to Congress.
