Punjab Elections 2022: Delhi CM's 'fake Kejriwal' jibe at Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi

Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal had strong words for his Punjab counterpart Charanjit Singh Channai as he addressed a rally in Moga. 

The AAP chief referred to Channi as 'fake Kejriwal' and said that the Punjab CM repeats every promise that he makes. 

"In Punjab, a fake Kejriwal is roaming. Whatever I promise here, he repeats the same. In the entire country, only one man, Kejriwal, can bring down your electricity bill to zero. So beware of that fake Kejriwal," the Delhi chief minister said.

The AAP chief announced that if his party came to power in Punjab in the 2022 state polls, ₹1,000 per month will be transferred into the accounts of all women above the age of 18. 

Elderly women who are getting an old-age pension will continue to get that in addition to the ₹1000, he added. 

Under the AAP's 'Mission Punjab', Kejriwal will visit various places in the state in the next one month to rally support for the upcoming state electi polls
