Dharamshala has been hit by massive flash flood after cloudburst on Monday morning following incessant rain since Sunday night.
The cloudburst occurred on Monday morning at the popular tourist attraction Bhagsu Nag in Dharamshala.
A popular tourist destination in Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala is currently packed with tourists from the plains of North India.
Videos of mud flooding into the streets of Dharmshala have surfaced online.
Report says that around 3000mm of rainfall has been recorded in and around Dharamshala.
Many vehicle were washed away and several shops were damaged as flash floods gushed into the main town. However, no loss of life has been reported.
The national highway near Jhakri in Rampur area of Shimla district was blocked following heavy rainfall.
The weather department has predicted heavy rainfall in Himachal Pradesh till July 17.
