A Mumbai court has allowed Bollywood actor Rhea Chakraborty's bank accounts to be de-frozen.
Her accounts were frozen last year after Rhea was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in an alleged drugs case following the death of Sushant Singh Rajput in June.
According to reports, Rhea in her plea seeking access to her accounts, had stated that she is an 'actor/model by profession' and the NCB freezing her accounts without reason, is causing grave injustice and prejudice to her.
The 'Chehre' actor filed another plea requesting that her gadgets, that were seized, be returned. The court passed an order in her favour, stating that her gadgets be returned 'after due verification and identification, and executing indemnity bond for Rs 1,00,000'.
In October 2020, the Bombay High Court had granted bail to Rhea Chakraborty in a drugs case, related to her boyfriend and actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death, stating that she was not part of the chain of drug dealers.
