Home Minister Amit Shah extended his 3-day trip to J&K and spent the night at the CRPF camp in Pulwama where a suicide car bomb attack on the paramilitary convoy in February 2019 had left 40 personnel dead.
Addressing the security personnel at the CRPF campus, Shah said he wants to stay there in order to understand their problems, adding that it was his "most important" engagement during his visit to the union territory.
Before leaving the camp on Tuesday morning, the Home Minister paid tributes to the 40 CRPF soldiers who died in the 2019 attack.
