Football clubs worldwide are bustling with activity during the summer transfer window as they seek to bolster their squads for the upcoming season.
Chelsea are set to make some major changes to their squad by offloading as many as 11 players to make room for new signings. Among the players reportedly departing are midfielder N'golo Kante, defender Kalidou Koulibaly, winger Hakim Ziyech, and goalkeeper Eduoard Mendy, who are reportedly all heading to the Saudi League.
Kante is poised to join forces with his French teammate Karim Benzema at Al-Ittihad, while Eduoard Mendy is in talks with Al-Ahly. Hakim Ziyech is said to be joining Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr, and Kalidou Koulibaly is likely to make his way to Al Hilal.
In a separate deal in London, Arsenal has reached an agreement with Chelsea to acquire forward Kai Havertz in a £65 million deal, inclusive of add-ons.
Treble winners, Manchester City, have also made a significant move, securing the services of Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic in a £30 million deal.
Furthermore, reports suggest that Ilkay Gundogan is eyeing a move to Spanish champions FC Barcelona, despite lucrative offers from Saudi clubs.
