Realme has announced the upcoming launch of its latest Realme GT 6 smartphone, set for June 20 in India and other global markets. The company has revealed several AI features that will be available out-of-the-box, promising a significant upgrade in user experience. This announcement places the Realme GT 6 in the spotlight as an "AI Flagship Killer."
The Realme GT 6 will come equipped with three major AI features under the Next AI umbrella: AI Night Vision Mode, AI Smart Removal, and AI Smart Loop.
AI Night Vision Mode will enable users to capture clear videos even in low-light conditions, utilizing advanced night video algorithms. This feature aims to produce videos comparable to those shot with phones featuring a 1-inch sensor. Realme has shared a video demonstrating this technology, comparing its results with the regular video mode of the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
AI Smart Removal is a photo editing tool that allows users to remove unwanted objects or people from their photos. Users can manually select the elements they wish to remove, and the AI will automatically fill in the background seamlessly, ensuring that the edited photo looks natural.
This tool is similar to the object removal features found in some Samsung, Google, and Oppo smartphones, enhancing the image editing experience.
AI Smart Loop facilitates quick content sharing by letting users select and drag elements on the screen, such as text or images.
These can then be easily shared via third-party apps, streamlining the process of content sharing. The feature involves a semi-circular drawer that appears on the side of the screen, displaying third-party apps and a file dock for saving content for later use.
While Realme has confirmed several key features, the full specifications of the Realme GT 6 remain the subject of speculation and leaks.
According to previous reports, the Realme GT 6 might feature a 6.78-inch OLED BOE S1 display with a 1.5K resolution. It is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, promising robust performance for various applications.
For photography enthusiasts, the smartphone is rumored to sport a 50-megapixel primary rear camera, possibly using the Sony IMX882 sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
Additionally, it may include an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide camera. On the front, the Realme GT 6 could feature a 32-megapixel sensor for high-quality selfies and video calls.
The device is expected to be backed by a 6,000mAh battery, supporting 100W wired fast charging, which would allow for quick and efficient recharging. This combination of features positions the Realme GT 6 as a formidable competitor in the smartphone market.
The Realme GT 6 is scheduled to launch on June 20 in India and other global markets. It is expected to be available in multiple color options, including Green, Silver, and possibly Purple, featuring a sleek and modern design.
Realme will reveal more details about the smartphone, including its performance and additional features, in the days leading up to the launch.
