A Delhi court on Tuesday granted bail to Disha Ravi, the 22-year-old environmental activist who was arrested from her residence in Bengaluru by Delhi Police earlier this month in connection with the 'Toolkit' case.

The order for Disha's bail was passed by Additional Sessions Judge Dharmender Rana. The court granted bail to Disha on the condition of furnishing two sureties of ₹1 lakh each. Reports say, that Disha Ravi's lawyer told the court that her family cannot afford to furnish a bail bond of one lakh rupees.

The Delhi Police on Tuesday had filed a petition in the Patiala House court seeking an extension of Disha Ravi's police custody by another four days.

Disha along with activists Nikita Jacob and Shantanu Muluk have been accused of collaborating with the pro-Khalistani group Poetic Justice Foundation for creating the "toolkit" - allegedly linked to the farmers' protest on January 26.

The Delhi Police had registered a sedition case earlier this month over the "Toolkit", which made headlines after being tweeted by Swedish climate activist Greata Thunberg on February 3.
