UP Elections 2022 | Priyanka Gandhi writes to PM Modi, asks him to not share dais with Ajay Mishra

As the election campaign for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections picks pace, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi urging him not to share a stage with Union minister Ajay Mishra 'Teni'.

The letter was sent to the PM on a day he is in Uttar Pradesh capital  Lucknow for the DGP conference.

'Teni', the son has been arrested in connection with the violence in Lakhimpur Kheri in which eight people including four farmers were killed.

Last week, a forensic report confirmed that firing was done from the licensed weapons of Ashish Mishra, his friend Ankit Das and his private gunner Latif alias Kaale but there was no clarity as to when and where the firing was done.

“If your intentions are clear don’t share the dais with union minister of state for home. Dismiss him,” Gandhi said in her letter to PM Modi.
