Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a dig at opposition leaders on Saturday saying that they were in home isolation while he was reviewing Covid-19 management in the state.
While addressing a crowd at a BJP event in Etawah, Adityanath said he visited Etawah twice during the peak of pandemic and stood with the people in their hour of crisis but opposition leaders did not come out of their homes.

"If you remember, I came here twice amid the pandemic to monitor the situation and meet with frontline health professionals but leaders of other parties were in home isolation. They did not support you when you were in crisis," the chief minister said.
Urging voters to make sure that such leaders stay home even during the elections, Adityanth said, "they were busy on Twitter. So tell them - babua, yeh Twitter hi vote bhi de dega (This Twitter will give votes also)."
