Upcoming multi-starrers that are stuck due to Covid-19

From 'Brahmastra' to 'Adipurush', here are some upcoming multi-starrers that are stuck due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 

#1 Brahmastra
Ayan Mukherji's fantasy drama, 'Brahmastra' stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni in pivotal roles and will serve as the first film in a planned trilogy. Produced by Karan Johar, the film is expected to release on December 24, 2021. 

#2 Adipurush 
Filmmaker Om Raut's 3D action drama, 'Adipurush' stars not only Prabhas but Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh among others. According to reports, 'Bigg Boss 13' winner Sidharth Shukla and Kiccha Sudeep too might be seen in the upcoming film. The film features Prabhas as protagonist Adipurush and Saif as the villain named Lankesh. The film is expected to hit theatres on 11 August 2022. 

#3 KGF Chapter 2
While 'KGF 1' relied on Yash's star power alone, it's Chapter 2 will see Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon in key roles. However, several reports claim that the makers will now release the movie whenever the theatres open with 100% occupancy.

#4 Pushpa
'Pushpa' which will now release in two parts not just stars Allu Arjun in the lead, but also features Malayalam cinema biggie Fahadh Faasil as the main villain. 'Pushpa' is based on the red sanders heist in the hills of Andhra and the convoluted nexus. The first part of the movie is currently slated to release on August 13, this year while the second installment will come out in 2022.
 
#5 Pathan
YRF's much-awaited project 'Pathan' that marks the return of Shah Rukh Khan to the silver screen after the debacle of 'Zero' will also see Salman Khan, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone in the film.  Directed by Siddharth Anand YRF's Pathan is eyeing a 2022 release.
