Music director Anu Malik has been accused of stealing Israel’s national anthem for his 1996 song ‘Mera Mulk Mera Desh’.

Indians were shocked to hear the national anthem of Israel after Israeli gymnast, Artem Dolgopyat won the second gold medal in the Tokyo Olympics.

Memes and jokes flooded Twitter after Netizens realised that the Anu Malik-composed song 'Mera Mulk Mera Desh' from the film 'Diljale' is actually copied from Israel’s national anthem.

Diljale featured Ajay Devgn, Amrish Puri, Sonali Bendre in pivotal roles

While some users said Anu Malik didn't spare even Israeli national anthem while copying tunes others thanked internet as they got to know this.
