Boosting the confidence of his party workers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said his Bharatiya Janata Party has crossed 100 seats in the four of eight phases of ongoing West Bengal assembly elections.

At a rally in Bardhaman, Modi said, "In the four phases, the TMC has been wiped out by people. People have hit so many boundaries and over-boundaries that the BJP has slammed a century already."

After the third phase of the elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had claimed that the BJP has won 63-68 of 294 seats.
