After two SpiceJet planes made an emergency landing, IndiGo aircraft bound for Delhi had to return to Guwahati soon after taking off after it suffered a bird hit.
As per media report, engine number 1 got damaged by a bird hit when it was cruising at an altitude of 1,600 feet. The engine was immediately shut down, and the plane returned to Guwahati airport.

According to a statement by the spokesperson of the airline, the cabin pressure differential was unable to be built up as the altitude of the cabin rose from the ground.
All passengers were accommodated on another flight to Delhi and the aircraft was inspected.
This was the third such incident when a flight made an emergency landing. Earlier, two SpiceJet aircraft suffered from technical glitches.
