Aamir Khan reunites with ‘Taare Zameen Par’ co-star after 16 years; Darsheel drops hints with pics

Aamir Khan and his co-star from ‘Taare Zameen Par’ co-star Darsheel Safary have reunited for their next unannounced project. Darsheel has shared the first look of Aamir Khan on his Instagram account, fuelling the curiosity of fans.

Darsheel has shared a series of pictures featuring Aamir Khan in three different looks. The first picture shows Aamir in a retro look, while in the second one, we see Aamir in a spooky avatar. The third and the last picture shows the actor in an astronaut costume. Teasing the upcoming project, Darsheel wrote, “It is Aamir’s multiverse, and we’re all just living in it. 3 days to go. #mrperfectionist #masterclass #versatileactor 

Earlier on Monday, Darsheel announced that he is reuniting with his ‘Taare Zameen Par’ co-star after 16 years for a project. Sharing a now and then collage, the actor wrote, “BOOOMMMMM! 16 years later, and we're together again. Emotional? Yeah, a little. Charged? ABSOLUTELY 
All the love to my favorite mentor for the experience. Watch this space for the Big reveal. 4 Days to go!!!” The first picture of the collage is a still from their 2007 superhit film ‘Taare Zameen Par’ while the second picture is from their upcoming project.  

Fans guess Aamir’s next project 

Fans expressed excitement to see their favourite actors come together after 16 years. The new pictures dropped by Darsheel have raised anticipation among the fans. Some speculated that the pictures might be from Aamir’s upcoming project ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’. Many other fans guessed that the stills might be from an ad campaign.

The actor, who was last seen in ‘Laal Singh Chadha’, recently announced his next film ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, adding that he is aiming for a Christmas release. This will mark his return to Christmas releases after eight years, with his last one being the blockbuster ‘Dangal’ in 2016.
