Amitabh Bachchan's 'Jhund' all set to arrive in theatres on March 4

Bollywood's superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming film, 'Jhund' is finally all set to make its theatrical release.

The sports drama is set to hit big screens on 4 March, 2022.

'Jhund' chronicles the story of a professor, who encourages street children to build a football team to help them find a purpose in life.

Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of Nagpur-based Vijay Barse in the film.

Vijay is the founder of Slum Soccer organisation which uplifts underprivileged children through football.

Directed by Nagraj Manjule, 'Jhund' was earlier supposed to hit the theatres on May 8, 2020, but it was postponed due to the novel coronavirus.

Apart from Jhund, Amitabh Bachchan also has 'Brahmastra', starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, in the pipeline, which is scheduled to release in September.
