Actor Ayushmann Khurrana attended the TIME100 Gala in New York City on Thursday night. The Bollywood actor has now taken to Instagram to share pictures from the do, capturing him with some of the most influential international artists. Invited for his significant contribution to arts and cinema, Khurrana graced the event alongside Dua Lipa, Uma Thurman, Dev Patel and Kylie Minogue, among others.
Ayushmann Khurrana has shared inside pics from the TIME100 Gala that took place in NYC on April 25. His post also included a picture of him with pop icon Dua Lipa and a video that had the duo sharing a hearty laugh. In another photo, the Indian actor was seen posing with 'Pulp Fiction' star Uma Thurman. Ayushmann also managed to click a picture with Dev Patel, who is currently making waves with his directorial debut 'Monkey Man'.
Sharing the photos, Ayushmann wrote in the caption, “It is the @time of the disruptors! Honoured to be a part of the TIME 100 Gala this year and have met the most brilliant minds and artists of our generation.”
TIME Magazine has awarded Ayushmann thrice. In 2023, he received the TIME100 Impact Award. He was the only Indian to be selected for the prize. In 2020, he was chosen as one of the magazine's 100 Most Influential People in the World. Meanwhile, this year, the only Bollywood personality who made it to the Time Influential 100 list was Alia Bhatt; however, she did not attend the gala.
Ayushmann Khurrana is reportedly gearing up for a spy comedy under the banner of Dharma Productions. The yet-to-be-titled film will mark Aakash Kaushik's first directorial. Additionally, Karan Johar and The Elephant Whisperer’s Guneet Monga are producing the film. An official confirmation for the project is awaited. The actor has also been roped in for Saurabh Ganguly's biopic.
