Tiger Shroff, son of actor Jackie Shroff and producer Ayesha Dutt, has impressed everyone with his dancing and action skills within nine years of his Bollywood career. He made his debut with 'Heropanti' in 2014 and then went on to star in commercially successful action films like ‘Baaghi’ (2016), its sequel ‘Baaghi 2’, and ‘War’ (2019). The actor likes to keep to himself and not much is known about his personal life.

Did you know Tiger is not his real name?

His real name is Jai Hemant Shroff. Jackie named him Tiger because he would bite like one when he was small. Tiger Shroff was born on March 2, 1990, and he has a younger sister named Krishna.

Trained martial artist

Tiger is a trained martial artist and into sports. He had no inclination towards acting, but he took the plunge in the end. The actor is incredibly talented, possessing excellent skills in martial arts, gymnastics and dance.

Best friends with Shraddha Kapoor

Tiger and Shraddha Kapoor are childhood friends. They studied together at American School of Bombay. The duo was seen romancing each other on-screen in ‘Baaghi'.

Rejected TV debut in 2009

Did you know Tiger Shroff was offered the lead role in the TV show ‘Fauji' in 2009? However, he rejected it as he didn't want to follow the route that starts with television and ends up in films. He made his Bollywood debut with ‘Heropanti’ opposite Kriti Sanon.

Tiger finds Aamir Khan worth hero-worshipping

Tiger Shroff finds only actor Aamir Khan worth hero-worshiping. According to Times of India, in an interview, he said, ‘Aamir is not only the best actor in the industry but he is one of the best human beings too. The mammoth star that he is he is humble. I wish even if I get 50pc of the stardom he has, i have 100 pc of his simplicity and humanity.’

Here's one more fun fact. Tiger helped Aamir during his gym workout sessions for his role in ‘Dhoom 3’.

The one regret Tiger has

Tiger Shroff has a flawless skin, light eyes and chiseled body. However, one thing that he wants is a few inches extra. The actor regrets that he is not as tall as his father Jackie Shroff.
