Sanjay Leela Bhansali's ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ is set to premiere on Netflix on May 1. A grand premiere was hosted on April 24 in Mumbai, where Alia Bhatt, one of Bhansali’s muses, caught everyone's attention.
Alia attended the premiere with her mother, Soni Razdan, and mother-in-law, Neetu Kapoor, and posed with them on the red carpet.
For the special night, Alia wore a silver salwar suit, keeping her hair loose and accessorizing with heavy earrings and a bindi.
Actor Salman Khan also arrived at the premiere of the upcoming Netflix series in style. Surrounded by his security, the 'Tiger' star walked the red carpet and posed for the paparazzi.
Ananya Panday was spotted at the event in a royal blue dress, looking beautiful as she posed for photographers at the Netflix event. Aditi Rao Hydari, who is part of the ‘Heeramandi’ cast, attended the event with her fiancé Siddharth, who looked handsome in a black ensemble. A video going viral on social media shows Aditi holding Siddharth's arm and inviting him to pose with her.
Mrunal Thakur, Shruti Haasan, Rakul Preet Singh also attended the premiere in ethnic outfits.

Set against the backdrop of the Indian freedom struggle of the 1940s, ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ is set to be an epic saga of love, power, revenge, and freedom. The series delves deep into the cultural reality of Heeramandi through the stories of courtesans and their patrons.
‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,’ a lavishly-mounted Netflix series, features Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Sanjeeda Shaikh in lead roles. Based on the concept by Moin Beg, the series is created and directed by Bhansali, who also serves as a producer.
